Place ice into the cocktail shaker.

Pour the vodka and coffee liqueur into the shaker over the ice.

Secure the lid and shake the mixture vigorously for 10 seconds until the exterior of the shaker feels cold.

Strain the liquid through a fine mesh strainer into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.

- Use good quality, chilled vodka. The better the vodka, the smoother the final cocktail.
